Imaging For Windows is a legacy document-imaging and scanning utility that shipped with select versions of Microsoft Windows in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It provides a simple, lightweight way to scan, view, annotate, and print raster documents—especially multi-page TIFF and fax files.

Key capabilities include TWAIN-based scanner support; handling of TIFF, BMP, and AWD formats; multi-page document management; and annotation tools such as highlights, notes, stamps, and redactions. It also offers basic image operations like zoom, rotate, invert, and page reordering, making it suitable for quick markups and archival tasks.

Note: As software designed for older 32-bit Windows environments, modern compatibility can be limited. Many users run it in compatibility mode or migrate to contemporary imaging solutions that offer broader format support and integrated OCR.

Imaging For Windows is developed by Eastman Software, Inc, A Kodak Business. and is used by 4 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 2.8, 3.0, 3.0 beta, 4.0 and 5.0. The names of program executable files are addicon.exe, flow.exe, Icon62BCF47A.exe, imaging.EXE and imgprv.exe.
